Oh, Hello Friend // Shop Swap #2

As you all know, I'm working on revamping Berry Sweet Treats with my new fairy tale inspired branding. I've got new promos, packaging, displays and of course, new products! I can't wait to get these up and show you what I've been working on.

Working on new packaging really gets you inspired - Pinterest is a great help too! So, I decided to participate in Danni's (creator of oh, hello friend - amazing inspirations and finds!) Shop Swap #2:

Hello dolls! The holiday season continues on with craft shows in full swing. I finished my shows for the year, and I thank you all for your support. Check out my Paint-A-Thon booth photos from the show I did in July. Remember the special booth events I had? Took photos of those too!

I kept all of my stands neutral and painted black for the most part. I'm incorporating heights into my future displays with more fairy tale inspired objects and designs. I created a book page inspired background for accessories that you can check out here. That's all for now! Stay warm.

Yummy Holiday Scents

Hello dolls! It's that season again - Christmas, New Years, other holidays! Of course there are delicious winter scents all around us: candy apples, salted caramel, pine forests, and candy canes. One of my favorite holiday drinks is from Starbucks: their holiday special Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino. It's super yummy with "mocha sauce and toffee nut syrup blended with coffee, milk and ice. Topped with sweetened whipped cream, caramel sauce and a mixture of turbinado sugar and sea salt."

Totally loving the holiday bath and body products right now! Check out the amazing LUSH scents for gift-giving this season including my all-time favorite Snowcake soap, the best selling Honey I Washed the Kids soap and Snow Fairy body wash gel. 

Another great place is Bath & Body Works, where my seasonal love is back, plus some new sweet smelling goodies. I adore Winter Candy Apple (a delicious candied apple scent) and the new Country Chic (a sparkling sweet lemon and grapefruit scent) collection. There's a ton of selections less than $10 from both shops including individual full-sized items and mini sets.

Hi dolls! A quick Berry Biz Tip today: organizing all of your links on one page! I'm trying out flavors.me (see a screen shot of my page below)! However, this only allows you to have 5 links on your page for the free version. I mainly use my about.me which is not only fully customizable, but you can add as many links and apps you'd like. Both are available as apps for smart phones as well! I'm going to play around and see which I like, and learn how to use both effectively. What are you using to share all of your social media presence?

Alice in Wonderland // Inspiration

Hi dolls! I can't believe summer is almost over, and it's back to school/work/fall so soon. I'm in need of some new inspiration, so I finally have my Tumblr account up and running. It's {all things alice in wonderland + other art inspirations}!

I've been organizing my room and found some great items to help me sort out my accessories. Check out this lovely hot pink ring holder I bought; isn't it adorable (plus, it's super affordable!)? Also, I bought an earring holder, and there's tons of cute pieces on eBay, or why not DIY one yourself? Lots of inspirations on Pinterest. I'm working on editing my wardrobe, and adding some new pieces, as well as redesigning my space so it's a lot more functional. I will be posting back here with photos of how it goes!

For now, some more Alice in Wonderland inspiration (it's an oldie but a goodie, and I'm glad to see No Doubt is back too!). That's all for now dolls xo

Creativity + Inspiration

Hey dolls! Summer is a great time to get inspired, don't you think? The lovely hot days, warm nights, bright colors, and of course the beach! I've been tapping into my creativity from nature, and of course on Pinterest. Here are some of my up-coming creativity goals that I find inspiration and to try new fields of art techniques:

Also, I'm planning on checking out one of my favorite artist's exhibit in Toronto: AGO to Present Major Exhibition of Picasso Works in 2012! I saw Picasso's Museum when I traveled to Barcelona, Spain, a few years ago, and it was incredible. He was such a talented artist, where his works sparked me to try different art forms, as well as the culture across the city. Any unique inspirations you've had? I'd love to hear about them below! Paint-A-Thon // Special Booth Events

Hey dolls! Tomorrow is the big day: Berry Sweet Treats will be a vendor for the Paint-A-Thon on July 14th, 2012 (12pm - 8pm) at Markham Civic Centre - 101 Town Centre Blvd. Hope to see you all at this awesome event!

Tim Burton // Inspiration

As some of you may know that one of my favorite directors + writers is Tim Burton! I find him to be one of the most brilliant modern artists from his original characters to his clay animation to his style of story-telling; he is so creative and inspiring. Some of my favorite movies happen to be ones he was a part of old and new:
